The Stickman team were in their element on Friday speaking at an event at Manchester Conference Centre. The event was organised by an associate of Stickman’s – the very fine Simon Hepburn, of Marketing Advice for Schools. Stickman was invited to join this particular event and to talk about our experiences around marketing a school and/or trust effectively. In our work as education marketing and research specialists, we see that moving from a single school to a chain of schools presents many challenges, and a key one of these is marketing. Those with marketing responsibilities often not knowing where to start.

Simon’s networking events bring together those with marketing responsibilities at their school or multi-academy trust and act as a source of inspiration by involving industry experts. They also facilitate discussion and support amongst delegates.
We were fortunate to have some great delegates in the room from schools/trusts such as Eaton Bank Academy (Cheshire), The Radclyffe School (Oldham), The Learning for Life Partnership (Cheshire) and the Marches Academy Trust (Shropshire).
The fabulous John Brennan – a key associate of Stickman’s – joined Stickman for the event and added to the very passionate and positive discussions going on in the room. Thank you John! And thank you for inviting us along Simon! Here are these two fine chaps below.
