I am lucky enough, once again, to be heavily involved with this year’s TEDx Nantwich event held at Brine Leas High School on Sunday 29th October. Yes, this year I am curating the event along with the very fine Joanne Grubb, owner of JG Creative and Peter Ewan, owner of HeelHeadOver (pictured below):
The theme this year is to celebrate and share the joy of ‘Life Long Learning’. Naturally, I was just a tad excited about this as it fits so splendidly with my own work in the Education sector as a Marketing Consultant, as well as being a huge believer in always embracing new ideas, learning new things and pursuing knowledge wherever possible.
My excitement reached crazy heights however when we did the speaker auditions.
WOW!
There are some incredible people on our doorsteps with such powerful ideas to share and we didn’t even know about them! The difficult part was whittling them down to the final 8 (see here). I won’t give too much away, but just know that if you’re hoping to come along to the event, you’re in for a treat-filled afternoon.
Tickets:
Speaking of which, if you want to buy a ticket, they go on sale at midday this Sunday 24th September on a first come, first served basis, so hurry. If you want to receive a reminder email you on Sunday, register here: http://www.tedxnantwich.com/
Sponsorship:
Finally, we are currently on the look out for sponsors for this incredible event so if you’re interested, or know someone who might be, find out more here.
Toodle-oo for now Stick buds,
Emily
